The Burning is a Danish metal band from Jyllands capital Aarhus.
The group was founded in 2005 by Johnny Haven (Vocals) and Rasmus Normand (Guitar) Rasmus had played in Panzerchrist before and later with Johnny Haven in progressive metal band Awedge. Dissatisfied with the more melodic direction of the former band, the two decided to form a hard hitting metal band, and The Burning was born.
