Prodigy (born Albert Johnson on November 2, 1974, in Hempstead, New York City), is an American rapper and one-half of the hip-hop duo Mobb Deep. He recently signed with G-Unit’s record label, along with other member of Mobb Deep, Havoc. He’s currently facing a 3 1/2 year sentence for illegal weapon possession.
