Paul was born in 1986 in the small town Zima, Russia. His first collision with music occurred at the age of 14 when he played songs of «Nirvana» on his guitar. A large influence on his musical taste was his older brother Danil. After graduating from high school, he wanted to go to the music school, but did not, because he was a «left-handed guitarist». But he did not stop and continued his music education - learning to play the trumpet and got initial music theory training.
At the age of 16 his musical tastes began to widen - slowly he began to open up to the world of electronic music. With the acquisition of a computer Paul’s life began to change. Almost all his spare time was spent listening to a large number of «new» music, trying first to write music using simple samples, also he wanted to program and work with 3D graphics - maybe because of this complex sequencers and synthesizers seemed clear to him. When Paul visited a nightclub for the first time, he was impressed by musical styles such as house and techno. And soon one of the most important things happened - meeting DJ Jons, Art Director of the nightclub, who gave him the opportunity to work as a resident in the club. The night club had become a second home for him and the place where he played his sets. After two months of work in the club, he started working on his own sound, and began to experiment with sequencers. The first of his own work that he decided to introduce was called «Chlorine» (a very impressive track with the metal bass and the sounds of industry), playing it to the audience in his set. Another was the «Influx» track, which left a considerable imprint in the Bratsk club life.
After half a year of work, the owner of the labels UA Digital and Ton Records - DJ Plato noticed Paul’s work and soon UA Digital released a single: «Paronator - Tesla EP». Pole Folder plays the track «Northern Lights» from this single in his radio show «80 Hz Sessions» on Proton Radio. And soon Paul prepares EP for Proton Music label and it’s sub-labels, Balkan Connection and Pole Folder’s 80Hz-Digital.
