Paul was born in 1986 in the small town Zima, Russia. His first collision with music occurred at the age of 14 when he played songs of «Nirvana» on his guitar. A large influence on his musical taste was his older brother Danil. After graduating from high school, he wanted to go to the music school, but did not, because he was a «left-handed guitarist».
