Kumar Sanu (alias Kedarnath Bhattacharya, born September 23, 1957 in Kolkata, is an Indian playback singer of Bollywood. He is a recipient of the Padma Shri award, one of India's highest civilian honours. He was honoured as the Artist of the decade at the IIFA Awards. He won the Filmfare Best Male Playback Award for 5 consecutive years.
