Durch Heer und Kraft
is a martial-industrial, neofolk and neoclassical group from Budapest, Hungary led by Adam Bérces.
Their music originates from the roots of the hungarian (and sometimes other european) folk music, which is mixed with heavy martial rhythms, neofolk/apocalyptic folk elements, wireless-style vocals and also some classical and historical sound samples.
The lyrics are dealing with hungarian history and they are heavily influenced by hungarian literature and the philosophy standing for the eternal values of the european soul: fatherland, pride, honour, power, christinality and the archaic metaphysical traditions.
Durch Heer und Kraft has started as one of the solo projects of Adam Bérces. After a demo and a succesful CD released in Germany, at SkullLine Records he decided to make it as a full band in order to make live appearences.
