Anatol Stefanet – leader of <Stefanet folk band> (Traditional taraf) and of ethno jazz group Trigon-Moldova, art director of ethno jazz festival in Moldova.
Anatol formed Trigon ethno – jazz group in 1992.
In 1994 a debut CD of group - «The Moldovan Wedding in Jazz» was awarded by the Charles Cros Academy of Arts ( France) as a remarkable debut.
Trigon group is playing improvisational music based on traditional folk music from Balkans region, since 1992 performing across the world.
In 1996 he created Stefanet Folk band (traditional taraf)
Since 1996 Anatol is the member of international “Black Sea Orchestra”
leaded by Okay Temiz.
In history of his groups are the international awards, the enthusiastic press reviews, concerts played at stages of the world in Spain, Russia, France, Germany, Romania, Norway, Holland, Bulgaria, Poland, New Zealand, Switzerland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Byelorussia, England, Czech, Austria, Japan, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Croatia, Canada…
One of his solo CDs «Anatol Stefanet - bratsch solo» was marked by “Choc du Monde de la Musique” in 1999, 2002 and 2005 years
As one of the virtuosos of the viola Anatol was invited to take part at International Viola Congress 2001 in New Zealand, Wellington.
He is author of music for drama play “Metamorphoses” by Ovidiu (Satiricus theater (Chisinau), films “ Still Center” (Carina Rosanna Tautu Romanian National TV Columbia University), “ The wedding in Bessarabia”(Romania/Moldova), “The Wolves and Gods” (Moldova film production).
Since 2002 he is art director of Ethno jazz festival in Chisinau.
